Reimagining The Essence Of Cantonese Cuisine

Set within the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon, Kabin Chinese Restaurant has long been recognised as a quiet address for authentic Cantonese dining. With the unveiling of a newly refined menu, Kabin continues its culinary journey with greater nuance, where thoughtfully crafted flavours unfold in an intimate setting cherished for family gatherings, business occasions and private celebrations.

Entering 2026, Kabin proudly unveils its newly curated menu, marking a meaningful evolution of the restaurant’s culinary journey. Rather than a complete reinvention, the refreshed menu builds upon Kabin’s well-loved foundations, thoughtfully enhanced with new dishes that reflect greater depth, balance, and craftsmanship. Each creation is carefully developed by Kabin’s experienced and dedicated Chinese culinary team, with close attention to technique, flavor harmony, and ingredient quality.

Among the highlights of the roasted selections is the NewStyle Peking Duck with Angelica Root and Ginseng. This refined interpretation combines traditional roasting techniques with subtle herbal notes inspired by Asian medicinal ingredients, resulting in a dish that is both layered and approachable. The dim sum menu has been elevated with notable additions such as Black Truffle Siu Mai with Quail Egg, offering richness balanced by finesse, and Hangzhou-Style Crab and Prawn Dumplings, featuring naturally sweet seafood wrapped in delicate, translucent skins—an expression of precision and care in every bite.

Seafood dishes further enrich the menu with flavors that are bold yet balanced. Sichuan-Style Sour Fish Soup with Barramundi Fillet presents a gentle interplay of acidity and mild heat, while Bach Hoa Stuffed Crab Claws, crisp on the outside and tender within, make an ideal choice for shared dining experiences. The meal concludes on a comforting note with Crispy Chestnut Glutinous Rice Cakes, a traditional dessert that is simple, familiar, and quietly refined. After more than three months of research, testing, and thoughtful ingredient pairing, Kabin’s new menu will officially be available from January 2026. Kabin warmly invites diners to experience a renewed expression of Cantonese cuisine - where authentic flavors are preserved and presented with greater nuance, care, and depth in the heart of Saigon.
