“Autumn dream” collection for meaningful autumn gifts
Gifting mooncakes has become a favorite element during the mid-autumn festival. This year, Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers unveils its 2023 concept themed “Autumn dream” with three luxurious boxes.
The first box is the standard version named Mong Thu Yen Canh (meaning Serenity in the autumn dream) boasting the rectangular design with a sheer shape, representing a magic box filled with floral dreams. Covered by delicate fabrics with elegant embossed patterns, the box displays two layers resembled by the combination of turquoise and coral.
The second box, the premium version, Mong Thu Phi Dieu (meaning Flying birds in the autumn dream) prides itself with its premium design, likewise a sophisticated travel bag – themed with sky blue and leather encompassing clear-cut embossed patterns and locked with a golden brass buckle.
The most anticipated box of the collection, the VVIP version with limited edition, features a classic vintage bottle green exemplifying an awe-inspiring structured luxurious refined box. Named Mong Thu Huyen Vi (meaning a dream towards a surreal universe), the box is the highlight of our collection with its eye-catching look, bragging shining leather topstitched with a diamond motif hooked with a golden logo buckle for an opulent, eye-catching design.
Each box is meticulously encased with two savory and two sweet fillings. Our artisanal mooncake collection consists of eight fillings, embracing timeless classics and newly-curated flavors. Choose from the mixed nuts comprising the classic rich taste and a harmonious combination of different ingredients; the scallop X.O, an example of culinary craftsmanship with Li Bai’s tasty X.O sauce; the white lotus, the must-have item of the mid-autumn festival; the pandan lotus starring a quintessential blend of the fragrant pandan leaves and aromatic lotus seeds; the black and white sesame with its sweet scent and ethereal aftertaste; the green tea offering unspoiled experience for every green tea fanatic; to the cranberry with the refreshing taste of the fruity sweetness. In addition, Sheraton Saigon puts a spin on the traditional flavor by debuting the imperial Long Jing tea, the queen of green teas hand-picked in spring and infused with the nourishing flavors with roasted hazelnut sweetness favored by royalty in ancient China.
Having worked at Li Bai since the opening of its inaugural outlet 20 years ago, Chef Nhieu, the hero behind the mooncake creation and production, Sous Chef at the renowned Cantonese restaurant proudly shares: “What makes our artisanal mooncakes unique is we produce the mooncakes in house, inside our kitchen, from assembling, baking to packaging.
