The AP House
Time Beyond Measure

Marking its 150th anniversary, Audemars Piguet unveils a breathtaking new wing at AP House K11 Musea in Hong Kong. Overlooking Victoria Harbour, the serene retreat blends Swiss craftsmanship with Chinese cultural heritage, redefining luxury hospitality through intimate design, horological artistry, and a unique sense of community.

In a city renowned for its restless pace, Audemars Piguet has introduced an oasis of calm and culture. The newly expanded AP House at K11 Musea redefines the brand’s relationship with Hong Kong by creating a haven where horology, hospitality, and heritage converge. More than a showroom, it is envisioned as a private residence for watch enthusiasts - a place where conversations linger, friendships grow, and craftsmanship is celebrated in refined intimacy.

Designed in collaboration with Studiossoo, the new wing pays homage to both Audemars Piguet’s origins in Le Brassus, Switzerland, and the cultural richness of China. Guests enter through a Calacatta gold marble portal, greeted by an atmosphere that blends natural light, tactile surfaces, and an unmistakable rhythm of elegance. At its heart lies the watch cellar, an architectural centrepiece with peapod-shaped pillars that frame the Manufacture’s timepieces under dynamic lighting. Each creation is presented not merely as a product of precision engineering but as an objet d’art - a story of time written in metal, stone, and spirit.

The journey unfolds across a 515-square-metre expanse, carefully curated to offer moments of surprise and delight. The dining area, crowned with chandeliers inspired by the graceful geometry of watch hands, speaks to the brand’s devotion to detail. Adjacent, a tranquil lounge lined with Capiz shell wall panels and velvet-accented galleries provides a cocoon of serenity for private conversations and collector appointments. A central tea bar offers a cultural bridge between East and West. Crafted with a luminous green onyx counter and lantern-inspired contours, it honours the region’s traditions while echoing the iconic circular bar of the original AP House. Here, horology and hospitality come together in ritual and refinement.

Further inside, an alcove designed like an intimate boudoir blooms in dusty pinks and embroidered chinoiserie. The space whispers of quiet luxury, revealing at its heart the hidden Jewellery Box - a lacquered cabinet concealing some of Audemars Piguet’s most exclusive treasures. Opening it is akin to discovering a secret, a gesture that transforms a visit into a memory.

The experience culminates on a 135-square-metre terrace, where sculptural seating and greenery frame sweeping views of Victoria Harbour. Here, the new and original wings of AP House merge seamlessly, creating an al fresco retreat where the city’s skyline becomes part of the design. Guests are invited to pause, reflect, and celebrate the union of nature, culture, and innovation.

The unveiling of the new wing on September 10 coincided with the Maison’s 150th anniversary, a milestone that underscores Audemars Piguet’s ability to remain both rooted in tradition and forward-looking in vision. The evening gathered more than 250 esteemed guests, including actors Lee Sung- yung, Elaine Zhong, and Terrance Lau, a constellation of cultural figures who highlighted the Manufacture’s resonance across Asia. With this expansion, Audemars Piguet now commands presence on both sides of Victoria Harbour, following the opening of AP House at The Henderson. Together, the two Houses frame the city’s skyline as symbols of innovation, artistry, and belonging.

The AP House concept was born from dialogue with loyal clients, reimagining traditional retail into a welcoming home. It reflects how founders Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet might share their passion today - not across counters, but across tables. With 24 AP Houses worldwide, from Amsterdam to Tokyo, the model has evolved into a global family of sanctuaries for collectors and friends of the brand.

In Hong Kong, the expansion at K11 Musea takes this philosophy to its most ambitious expression yet. Here, every element - from watch cellar to terrace - is designed not only to showcase timepieces but to create connections, conversations, and cultural moments. Through the new wing of AP House K11 Musea, Audemars Piguet reaffirms its commitment to Hong Kong and to the values that define luxury today: intimacy, authenticity, and cultural resonance. It is a place where Swiss watchmaking savoir-faire meets Chinese artistry, where time is celebrated not as a commodity, but as an experience.

In this new chapter at K11 Musea, Audemars Piguet offers more than an address - it offers a vision of time reimagined. Here, the spirit of Le Brassus meets the vibrancy of Hong Kong, creating a sanctuary where craftsmanship, culture, and community converge. It is not simply a space to admire watches, but a home where heritage is celebrated, artistry is experienced, and the future of luxury is quietly, confidently shaped.
