Mid-November is the season for wonder and magic all over Europe and Christmas markets pop up everywhere. Wishing to bring this festive cheer to Ho Chi Minh City, the Consulates general of France, Germany, Hungary, Italy and the Netherlands organize a charity Christmas market in the gardens of the French Residence on November 25th, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There is less than two weeks to go until the opening of the first European charity Christmas market in Ho Chi Minh City.
The gardens of the French Residence, will exceptionally be open to the public, and will be transformed, in the space of an evening, into a magical place with the scent of traditional Christmas cakes and mulled wine, while choirs will sing traditional carols.
Seasonal shoppers will find gift ideas among all the European artisan crafts and decorations sold then. Fun activities will allow children to explore European traditions and cultures. Kids will also have the chance to ride a pony!
A perfect afternoon and evening out for families, friends or couples wanting to enjoy some time together and to get into the Christmas mood!

Indeed, the entrance fee (30.000 VND cash donation per person) and all the profits of this European Christmas market will be donated to 5 charities operating in Vietnam: Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe e.V., E-ducare, Ho Chi Minh Heart Institute, Mái ấm Bà Chiểu and Sống Foundation.
