In May, this message will be shared with diners during the second event, Life Inspiration. From May 23 to May 25, 2024, Executive Chef Phi Cong (Le Méridien Saigon Hotel) and Executive Chef Si Toan (Sam Dining Dalat Restaurant) will lead the second chapter of this culinary event at BARSON, where they will create exquisite dishes using local ingredients that draw inspiration from essential elements of life.

Le Méridien Saigon debuted its culinary event series "Pause + Savour" at the end of April with the first Guest Chef from Le Méridien Myeongdong Seoul - Korea, and has provided many impressive activities for diners by creating a culinary journey combining multinational cultures and flavors, awakening the senses with unique ingredients and cooking techniques from two countries.

Following the success of this event, Chapter 2: Life Inspiration, will take diners back to their original gastronomy, with all inspirations centered around 04 elements of life: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. Draw Inspiration from Four Elements of Life: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air

In Chapter 2, Chef Phi Cong will reunite with his friend, Chef Si Toan, to embark on an attractive menu and enlighten the journey of life story. Chapter 2 will especially honor Vietnamese talents who are constantly trying new things and pushing the boundaries of regional cuisine. From May 23 to May 25, two talented Chefs and the Kitchen Team will create a 6-course Menu that balances four main elements of life: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air at BARSON - a vibe-dining bar in Le Méridien Saigon.

This special collaboration with Chef Si Toan will bring even more interesting surprises as each chef has a unique culinary style approach. Four elements of life: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air will be vividly expressed through a 6-course menu featuring: Cao Lanh Clay Tart, Sesame-Cured Tuna (Earth), Oysters with Green Chilli Sauce (Water), Cherrywood House-Smoked Pigeon & Lobster Butter Bread (Air), Lobster with Smoked Bell Pepper Sauce (Fire), Wagyu Beef Striploin (Fire), Earl Gray Tea Mousse (Earth).

In addition to drawing inspiration from ingredients and celebrating talents, "Pause + Savour" series also aims to create joyful memories together with chances to fully savour the good life. Joining Chef Si Toan and Executive Chef Phi Cong will be Head Sommelier - Huyen Ha, who carefully selects a wine menu that features exceptional pairings with each dish ingredient, elevating the dining experience for guests. The Wine Pairing option is available at a price of VND 800,000++ per diner. Furthermore, an alternative option for those with a preference for something sweeter. Mixologist and Bar Manager Chester Tran offers Cocktails Pairing for VND 800,000++ or Mocktails Pairing (non-alcoholic) for VND 450,000++ per diner.
