This Mid-Autumn season, Mia Luxury Collection unveils Moonlit Brocade, an evocative dialogue between Vietnamese craftsmanship and haute gastronomy. Drawing upon the iridescent artistry of mother-of-pearl and the poetry of reunion, the collection transforms the mooncake into a sensorial objet d’art.

Under the moon’s silver glow, tradition takes on a new silhouette. Moonlit Brocade is housed within a sculptural cylindrical box, its elegant handle recalling the supple curve of bamboo. More than packaging, it is a tribute to Mia Saigon’s vision of the modern Vietnamese woman, rooted in heritage yet instinctively attuned to contemporary elegance.

Its story begins in Chuon Ngo village, Chuyen My, Hanoi, where generations of artisans have perfected the delicate craft of mother-of-pearl inlay for nearly a thousand years. Against a lacquered black ground, gilded butterflies and intricate floral arabesques shimmer with the elusive luminosity of nacre. Every surface catches the light differently, revealing a piece whose beauty lies in its individuality and painstaking craftsmanship.

The same spirit of artistry continues within. Since 2019, Mia Luxury Collection has interpreted Vietnam through an increasingly sophisticated culinary lens, inviting its pastry artisans to distil the character of the country’s regions into four distinctive creations.

Northwestern Smoked Wagyu Beef evokes the misty highlands through deeply savoury, smoky layers. Dong Thap Osmanthus Lotus balances the delicate richness of lotus with the floral sweetness of osmanthus. Cam Lâm Mango captures the sun-drenched freshness of Khanh Hoa Province, while Imperial Hue Sesame recalls the refined, nostalgic flavours of the former royal capital.

For the most indulgent expression, Iberico Ham & Black Truffle brings together the luxurious depth of Spanish Iberico with the earthy perfume of prized truffle, a bold composition conceived for the discerning palate.

Moonlit Brocade unfolds in two editions. The Standard Box, priced at VND 1,599,000 NET, presents four 180g mooncakes accompanied by premium Vietnamese tea. The Premium Box, at VND 1,799,000 NET, introduces the coveted Iberico and truffle creation, elevating the collection into a more lavish expression of the Mid-Autumn table.

As evening falls and the moon rises, Moonlit Brocade becomes an invitation to slow down, pour the tea, savour each note and gather around a ritual shaped by memory. Here, Vietnamese heritage is not preserved behind glass. It is reimagined, beautifully and deliciously, for a new generation.
