At Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort, luxury and leisure flow effortlessly into one another in an eco-conscious haven on Vietnam’s “Pearl Island.” With 150 metres of pristine beachfront, turquoise waters, and over seven hectares of landscaped gardens, it is a resort designed to both impress and embrace.

Architecture inspired by a fish gliding through water ensures every angle draws the eye towards the ocean. My own stay began in the Connectivity Lounge on first floor, where a seamless check-in was accompanied by welcome drinks set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Our accommodation, the Suite Ocean Room, was a sanctuary shared with my sister, her eight-year-old daughter, and my fifteen-year-old. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by sweeping views of the shimmering pool and the vast sea beyond—an ever-changing canvas of blues and golds. The room’s design blends contemporary elegance with subtle Vietnamese artistry, offering a tranquil yet sophisticated retreat.

Across the resort’s 331 rooms, suites and Cabanas—guests are treated to a harmonious blend of comfort and relaxation. Each space features private balconies, walk-in rain showers, and plush bedding, but the Suite Ocean Room takes luxury a step further. Its panoramic sunset views are breath-taking, and the oversized bathtub invites two guests to unwind together while gazing out at the horizon.
The resort’s six F&B venues Salt ’n’ Pepper, Sea Stars, Mad Cow Wine & Grill, Beach House, Coconutz Pool Bar, and The Lighthouse Bar each bring a distinct atmosphere, ensuring that dining is as much a part of the experience as the ocean breeze.

Family-friendly touches are everywhere. The Kids’ Club was a hit—bright, safe, and packed with activities like crafts, games, and storytelling, all supervised by friendly staff. Near the mainpool, the splash pad kept the little ones laughing, while shaded seating let parents relax and watch the fun. With the kids entertained, my sister and I enjoyed a workout in the gym, followed by a tranquil yoga session with an instructor. At the Pullman Spa, my Deep Tissue massage and my daughter’s Aroma Massage left us equally restored.
