The event is organised in the Casa Italia (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi)

The event was honored to welcome Mr. Marco Saracco – Head of the Trade Office of the Embassy of Italy to Vietnam – and Mr. Federico Vasoli – Vice Chairman of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM), who delivered the opening remarks, conveying a message of cultural connection between Italy and Vietnam through cuisine and wine.

Mr. Marco Saracco, Head of the Trade Office of the Embassy of Italy to Vietnam, stated: “For Italians, wine is a lifestyle and an inseparable part of our culture. Above all, the essence of wine lies in its ‘sense of community’ – the art of gathering together, enjoying the moment, appreciating companionship, celebrating with friends, and forging new connections. In the end, wine is a story of sharing and exchange.”

Mr. Federico Vasoli, Vice Chairman of ICHAM, remarked: “Thanks to its exceptional geographical and terroir diversity, Italy is considered the country with the largest number of indigenous grape varieties in the world. This is a distinctive feature of Italy, where—not only in food and beverages—local values, niche products, and artisan producers in every region always have the opportunity to thrive.”

Guests checked in at an Italian-style “mystery door” to receive wine-tasting accessories, including a wine glass and a glass holder.

The event brought together eight exhibitors, all leading wine importers and distributors in Vietnam, including Don Vino, Huy Phong, Montecarlo, Red Apron, Thiên Linh, Vinifera, WeWine, and Winecellar. Nearly 100 premium Italian wine labels were showcased at the festival, allowing guests to explore the richness and sophistication of Italian wines.

The event served as a valuable opportunity to connect the wine-loving community and Italian culture enthusiasts in Hanoi.

Representing Don Vino, Mr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn shared:“As we all know, wine is a refined cultural symbol, and Italian wine is particularly renowned for its diversity stretching from the North to the South. Therefore, the Italian Wine Festival is a wonderful opportunity to bring the wine culture closer to the Vietnamese public in an engaging and authentic way.”
Alongside wine tasting, the Organizing Committee prepared a variety of engaging activities, including quiz games with prizes, a blind tasting challenge, a wine-glass decorating corner - all of which received an enthusiastic response from participants.

These games helped energize the festival and create a lively atmosphere.

Ms. Trần Tú Anh, a participant at the Italian Wine Festival, shared: “I was truly impressed by today’s program. The event was exceptionally well organized — the wine, the food, and the music all reflected the Italian spirit, creating a captivating atmosphere.”

Guests also received gifts from the exhibitors through various mini-games.

Mr. Trần Thanh Quyết, Executive Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM), reflected on the return of the Italian Wine Festival 2025 with a sense of renewal and cultural depth. He emphasized that following the momentum of 2024, this year’s edition continues to explore the soulful essence of Italian wine, providing not only a stage to honor Italy’s vinicultural heritage but also a meaningful space where Vietnam’s wine-loving community and admirers of Italian culture can connect. Looking ahead, ICHAM affirms its commitment to bringing forward events of ever-increasing quality—initiatives that foster gastronomic dialogue, cultural harmony, and stronger economic ties between the two nations.

DJ Jazz Cát Lượng and the live music performance further enlivened the ambiance, bringing uplifting and inspiring rhythms to the festival.
