Consular Club’s International Charity Bazaar - Shopping With A Purpose

Join the Consular Club HCMC’s International Charity Bazaar on November 9, 2024, at The Global City in Thu Duc. Celebrating three decades of community and philanthropy, this event will feature 100 vendors, vibrant cultural performances, and family-friendly entertainment—all to benefit local charities, including Newborns Vietnam.

The Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City will host its 28th International Charity Bazaar on Saturday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Global City in An Phu, Thu Duc. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this year’s bazaar is set to welcome an estimated 1,500 visitors and will feature a diverse selection of international goods, foods, cultural performances, raffles, and family-friendly activities, all within a spacious, modern venue.

Proceeds from the bazaar will benefit local charities, including Newborns Vietnam, which focuses on reducing infant mortality and enhancing maternal health. The Consular Club has a strong record of supporting charitable initiatives, raising a record US$177,000 at last year’s annual fundraising dinner. These funds went to organisations like VietHarvest, Planète Enfants et Développement Vietnam, and the Brighter Path Girl’s Club of VinaCapital Foundation, supporting initiatives throughout Southern Vietnam.

Established in 1994, the Consular Club is a non-political, non-profit organization of international and Vietnamese representatives from consular missions in HCMC. Bringing together the diplomatic and private sectors, the club raises funds for local charities, with a focus on gender equality, sustainability, and improving life for vulnerable communities in Southern Vietnam.

A highlight on HCMC’s social calendar, the Consular Club's International Charity Bazaar brings together the community to support charitable causes and celebrate cultural diversity. This year promises a memorable occasion, providing attendees a chance to explore a wide array of international products and performances while contributing to meaningful charitable initiatives.

Admission to the bazaar is VND100,000 per adult, with lottery tickets available for VND50,000 each. Oriental Media & Salon Deluxe will join as sponsors, donating a pair of Swiss watches for auction to support the Consular Club’s mission, led by President Madame Milena Padula.
