Azimut Yachts
Sculpting the Sea, Defining Modern Yachting

Tran Nguyen

From the ateliers of Italy to the shifting horizons of Southeast Asia, Azimut Yachts shapes a new language of movement at sea. Defined by design, innovation, and emotion, the brand continues to lead global yachting while finding new resonance in emerging destinations such as Vietnam.

Founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli, Azimut Yachts has grown into one of the most influential names in contemporary yachting. As part of the Azimut Benetti Group, it embodies a refined dialogue between Italian artistry and advanced engineering, where each yacht is conceived not only as a vessel, but as a living space shaped by light, proportion, and movement.

Across its collections, Azimut defines distinct expressions of life at sea. The Fly Series remains its most recognisable signature, offering elevated flybridge living with a seamless connection between interior and horizon. The S Series introduces a more dynamic spirit, merging performance with sculptural elegance. At the pinnacle, the Grande Collection embraces scale and innovation, distinguished by the extensive use of carbon fibre and interiors envisioned by leading designers.

Elsewhere, the Magellano Collection reinterprets long-range cruising with quiet sophistication, balancing efficiency and comfort for extended journeys. The Atlantis Collection speaks to a more relaxed, open-air lifestyle, while the Verve Series delivers a bold, contemporary expression of speed and versatility.

In its latest evolution, Azimut introduces the Seadeck Series, a forward-looking generation that places sustainability and experiential living at its core. The Seadeck 6 reflects this philosophy through hybrid propulsion and fluid, open spaces designed to dissolve the boundary between yacht and sea. It is a vision where innovation becomes almost invisible, allowing the experience itself to take precedence.

This philosophy found a poetic expression during Made in Italy Day 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City. On the Saigon River, Italian craftsmanship unfolded not as a static display, but as a living experience. Presented by the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, Made in Italy Afloat brought together yachting innovation, fine wines, and culinary artistry in a setting defined by movement and light.

Against the backdrop of a city in transformation, guests stepped aboard the Azimut S7, where sculpted lines and advanced carbon fibre construction translated into a quiet sense of effortless motion. As the yacht moved along the river, the experience unfolded through moments of design, taste, and conversation, echoing the essence of Italian excellence in its most fluid form.

In Vietnam, where coastline and rivers shape both geography and aspiration, such experiences signal a growing dialogue between global luxury and local context. Azimut’s presence here feels not incidental, but intuitive.

More than yachts, Azimut creates environments where emotion and precision coexist. In an era where luxury is defined by experience, it offers something enduring: a way of moving through the world with elegance, intention, and a quiet sense of freedom.
