Perched above the striking black-sand shores of Kamari, this design-led sanctuary offers a tranquil escape, inviting discerning travellers to experience a more authentic and quietly captivating side of the iconic volcanic island.

Set above the volcanic coastline of Kamari Beach, Sandblu Santorini draws profoundly from its surroundings. The black-sand landscape, shaped by centuries of geological movement, serves as both backdrop and narrative. Here, the terrain is not treated as spectacle, but as a subtle language that informs the property’s architecture, materiality, and rhythm. Sandblu is conceived less as a destination than as a gateway to a more introspective side of the island.

That sensibility is expressed through a design vocabulary rooted in restraint. Whitewashed volumes, softened by coastal tones and grounded in volcanic stone, create a refined dialogue between Cycladic heritage and contemporary calm. The property comprises 66 accommodations, including 36 rooms, 27 suites, and three expansive villas. Nearly half feature private pools, while each space is thoughtfully composed to enhance privacy, and a seamless connection to the surrounding landscape.

The culinary programme pays homage to Santorini’s rich gastronomic identity across six distinct venues. At Nectar, Greek cuisine is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, while Plateia offers a more relaxed all-day experience with views over the sea and pool. Guests can begin the day with artisanal coffee and pastries at Stari Bakery or explore Aroma, a 300-label wine cellar celebrating both local viticulture and international depth. Beyond the resort, the Rockwell Group-designed Blu presents elevated Greek-Mediterranean cuisine against the dramatic backdrop of the UNESCO-listed caldera.

Wellness is approached here not as an added feature, but as an integral philosophy. New for the 2026 season, The Wellness Collective brings together expert-led experiences spanning movement, mindfulness, nutrition, and restoration. At Aurora Spa, treatments by ESPA and 111SKIN unfold alongside thermal rituals, while the Nous & Sóma fitness centre combines Technogym equipment, a Pilates studio, and the Kinesis Vision system within a more holistic vision of wellbeing.

Beyond the resort, Sandblu curates experiences that reveal Santorini through a more intimate lens.
