Singapore's National Day is just around the corner and there's no better way to celebrate it than by feasting on the flavors of home.
From now until 9 August, it's a month-long food-fueled celebration at Edge — Pan Pacific Singapore's award-winning buffet restaurant. Here, Executive Chef Andy Oh and his culinary team are presenting "Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapre", a special buffet theme that pays homage to the melting pot of cultures that deliciously define the little red dot.
Work your way through a mouthwatering selection of signature Singaporean gems, which include Peppery Teochew Bak Kut Teh, Braised Soya Duck and Peanut with Yam Rice, Bak Chor Mee, Singapore Laksa with Baby Lobster, Nyonya Chap Chye, Kueh Pie Tee, Popiah, and more.
The buffet (priced at $128++/adults and $64++/child [6-12 years old]) also boasts a wide selection of desserts, comprised of irresistible sweet treats like Deep-fried Durian, Banana & Chempedak Ball, Durian Pengat, Milo Dinosaur Panna Cotta, Lychee Bandung Compote Trifle, Kopi O Cake, Rainbow Roti Ice Cream Sandwiches, and more.
What's more, the buffet also features an Old School Pop-Up Drinks station, where thirst quenching beverages include Virgin Singapore Sling, Teh Tarik, Iced Limau, and Soya Cincao.
In addition to local flavors and delights, diners can still enjoy an array of international dishes including Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese, Thai, and Western specialties. An abundant selection of fresh seaood offerings will also be available.
