For two days only (22 and 23 April), join An Afternoon with Chef Philippe Urraca, a special afternoon tea where you get to taste unlimited selection of sweet and savoury delicacies.

“I am combining the savoir-faire of France with locally-sourced ingredients of Indonesia. Through this unique collaboration, the Apurva Kempinski Bali’s guests will be able to taste different kinds of French specialities that I have gained and perfected during my years of participating in various competitions,” says Urraca.

Renowned in France for being one of the judges in a TV pastry competition, the former Meilleur Ouvrier De France president’s dedication in chocolate and pastry craftsmanship brings Urraca all over the world. Meilleur Ouvrier De France, or the best craftsmen of France, is a competition held every four years to encourage artisans to preserve and promote their craftsmanship. The title is granted for life and the winners are allowed to wear the prestigious red, white and blue collar as a well-earned sign that they are the custodian of their crafts.

Find Paris Brest, Lemon Choux, Savarin Passion Fruit, Raspberry Tart, and many more of his creations at Selasar Deli. Available from 2pm to 5pm, the afternoon tea is priced at Rp168,000++/person.

Alternatively, join the resort’s lavish Sunday Brunch at Pala on Sunday, 24 April. Urraca will be accompanied by another Meilleur Ouvrier De France chef Jean-Yves Leuranguer for a one-time only French Specialties Brunchcation. The brunch starts on 12pm until 3.30pm and priced at Rp700,000++/person. Guests are welcomed to use the resort’s pool and beach facilities for a leisurely Sunday experience.
