To celebrate Global Day of Discovery’s 9th anniversary, Renaissance Hotels is featuring unscripted adventures that place the brand’s revamped Evenings at Renaissance program in the spotlight. With Saigon Paradox on May 18, 2023, Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon brings a day with full of outdoor and indoor activities. Guests will discover the different distinctive aspects of Saigon from dusk till dawn with intriguing surprise here and there from the hotel team.
The discovery journey begins with an exclusive ride on Hop-on Hop-off Bus to destinations curated only for the day. The ride ends at Nha Rang café, where guests will have a chance to learn about the coffee story from bean to bottle, then experience the exclusive workshop at their factory before heading to lunch at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant.
After lunch section with distinctive water puppetry show promises to awaken all senses of the participants. The program continues with intriguing Art Interaction Section at the hotel partnered with Saigon-based graffiti artist Cresk – Nguyen Tan Luc, that offers participants an exciting opportunity to input their personal touch in each artwork. This artsy activity will be the key highlight of the day when all 8 finished artwork being installed on the hotel hall wall for one year since the event day. Cresk has spent more than 10 years pursuing the art of graffiti. His works depicts Vietnamese cultural from the very normal details from daily life, the beauty in things that we forget to appreciate every day. “Graffiti is free and unbound by any rules, which definitely reflects my personality. I could see myself represented, thus I’m constantly drawn to the art and inspired to create more of it. I never have to force anything to come out,” he shared in one of his previous interview with media.
The program will be closed with an enticing buffet feast at Viet Kitchen restaurant to revive “Evenings at Renaissance” program, together with distinctive traditional Vietnamese culinary showcase, in the background of Bach Dang Pier Park. While enjoying the live performances, our mixologists will entertain guests with 4 punches infused with local flavors: Saigon Punch, Pineapple Rum Tea Punch, Com Ruou Green Tea Punch and “Dalat” Mulberry Red Wine Punch.
